Thankful for Freddie's kidney transplant. . .

After almost eight years of waiting, my 27-year-old son, Freddie, received a kidney transplant on Monday. He is doing very well and is so grateful to now have an opportunity to live a more normal life.

April is almost over, summer is on its way! School is out May 28th. There's a lot to do in the next five weeks!

Sunday, March 15

It's Sunday again, so it's back to work tomorrow. Why do the weekends go by so fast? Fred's off to Arizona to put some pumps back together and won't be back till the end of the week. So guess it's up to me to get some gardening done and keep up with everything at home. Happy St. Patrick's Day on Tuesday (and Happy Anniversary to us). Don't forget to wear green!

March 11

Well, it's back to school and to the "real world" again, after the weekend at Palm Springs. Now, just one week until our 36th Anniversary! Has it reallly been 36 years???
We can wish Jimmy a happy 26th birthday today. Wonder how he's doing in boot camp!

Just returned home from the annual CUE conference in Palm Springs. Lots of great new ideas related to technology in education! It's always refreshing to see what's going on.
